Data Requests

The Ontario Physician Reporting Centre provides public access to aggregated data on physicians and postgraduate medical trainees in Ontario.

The Ontario Physician Reporting Centre (OPRC) publishes annual interactive Excel workbooks containing data about all actively licensed physicians practicing in Ontario (PIO Annual Report) and all postgraduate medical trainees in Ontario (PMTIO Annual Report). Additionally, OPRC compiles and publishes a comprehensive dataset (PIO Longitudinal Dataset) containing aggregated data from past PIO Annual Reports (2009-2023).

Users can download these data resources and filter and explore the data aggregated by select demographic and geographic variables.

Please fill out the Data Request Form with detailed information about your request. The more detail you provide, the easier it will be for us to evaluate and process your request efficiently.

We aim to acknowledge all data requests within 5 business days. Delivery times will vary based on the complexity of the request and current OPRC workload. We will provide an estimated completion time after reviewing the submitted data request. 

Data requests are processed on a cost-recovery basis. Fees may apply depending on the complexity and scope of the request. For further details, please refer to the Data Access and Release Policy.
