About

The Ontario Physician Reporting Centre’s mission is to provide accurate and comprehensive data on physician human resources and training that informs decision-making and improves planning in Ontario.  Our vision is to empower Ontario with the best data for physician human resources planning.

The Ontario Physician Reporting Centre (OPRC) is the definitive source of information on physicians and postgraduate medical trainees in Ontario. We are a collaborative project governed by four key organizations:

• Ontario Ministry of Health
• College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Council of Ontario Faculties of Medicine
• Ontario Medical Association

Funded by the Ministry of Health and operated at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, OPRC maintains a number of databases and creates annual reports that support physician and human resources planning in Ontario. See our data holdings for more details.
